Earthengoddess is pleased to offer a select range of hand-crafted sacred sculptures for home and altar. These are unique pieces which reflect our relationship and interpretation of feminine archetypes throughout history ( herstory ! )
This range of sculptures is created from original clay figures which are then moulded and cast. The original pieces are also for sale and commissions are taken.
Each piece retains its originality due to the complex finishing process, involving hand-fettling to enhance specific features as well as the applications ofglazes, gold and copper lustres, oxides, crystals and fossils. Some pieces go through as many as nine stages to reach completion and no one piece is completely the same as another !
These sacred sculptures make superb altar pieces and can powerfully enhance the ambience of any ceremonial or ritual setting.
They serve as a divine expression of the ever present archetypes.
